Shark Week!

The first episode of Shark Week was called "Caged in Fear" and aired on July 17, 1988 as a science history piece. Noone imagined how successful it would be and now, according to Discovery, has become the longest running television event in history. Sharks are often misunderstood and this gives us all a look into the lives of sharks. Sharks are vital for balancing the ecosystem and the planet survives on the balance of the ocean.
